The Rose Tattoo

Widowed when their husbands are
killed in a road accident, twin sisters
try to collect insurance. One sister is
wheelchair bound from the accident
but the sisters, with the help of their
hired man, struggle to keep their
farm operating. The insurance
company is refusing to make final
cash settlement on the liability claim
to the crippled sister until their
investigation is complete.

The people of the small town try to
help the sisters collect but the
insurance company is stalling. The
local undertaker and his twin
bachelor brother, the minister,
support the sisters, each for his own
reasons. The local Mayor has a
special interest in the claim. Art, the
hired man, knows something but he
is close-lipped when anyone talks
about the Twins.
