Bill Walton (CGA - retired) is a North Bay author who enjoys
exploring the different genres of writing - from his weekly
'Perspectives' columns on the Baytoday.ca internet news, to
short stories, novels and poetry.

Bill's hobbies, besides writing, include motorcycling,
photography, and golf as well as attending Taoist Tai Chi
classes and volunteering with the Warriors of Hope Breast
Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Racing Team. He will even pick
up his fishing rod when the occasion arises.

Bill is married to Diana, a retired associate professor of
Classical Studies at Nipissing University.

In November, 2011, Bill was appointed Poet Laureate for the
City of North Bay.
